Many trademark applicants run into this trap: after filing, agents sell paid “trademark pre-review” and expedited certification services, claiming higher approval rates and faster certificates. This is a common scam.
CNIPA does NOT offer post-filing trademark pre-review. There are no expedited trademark way. Trademark similarity searches and risk analysis are standard free pre-filing works. IP agents should complete this before submission and will not charge extra fee.
No one can speed up or interfere with CNIPA’s trademark examination. Standard review takes 4–6 months. All promises of fast-track trademark registration are false advertising.
